Ferris Wheel
Like sculptors who are said to draw in space, Mr. Gimpaya seems to paint with light, and whether the result is soft, as in the nocturnal scene of a monument silhouetted against a distant Ferris wheel, which is nothing but a gleaming disc in the night sky, or sharp, like the view of a bridge on the Seine at twilight, it is never less than memorable.
